Fever or infection. -PLEASE HELP SIR/MAM
Good evening, I'm asking this question for free because I don't have money rn and I can't ask mumma. I passed stool at 8 in the morning and it wasn't actually liquid but was in smaller pieces and then I passed stool again at 10 am. I thought I have lose motion but I shoved it off. At around 2pm. I felt a little something in my stomach for about 5 min and by at around 3:30 while I was attending class. I felt cold and weakness. So I came back home ans wrapped a blanket around me and slept. I asked my brother to bring medicine from the pharmacy and the pharmacist asked if I have constipation which I don't because I passed stool yesterday too. Now he has given me rabesec-dsr,norflox -400 and nicip plus. I casually asked in gpt to confirm but it said that I should just have paracetamol but I obv don't trust it. Can you please tell me what to do. I'll be very grateful if you help. It's a genuine request. PLEASE HELP.

Passing semiliquid stools with abdominal discomfort, is suggestive of protozoan infection. Instead of Norflox tablet, take tablet Norflox - TZ RF one morning and one evening for 3 days. Tab meftal spas one every 8hours for 2 to 3 days. Take electral powder 2 times. Take light  diet, bananas, boiled carrots, potatoes. Avoid spicy food.

You don't have money for Tele-consultation but surely your mom  has money to pay to a General Physician in your area. Please go to a General Physician in your area with your mom and get a proper consultation. There should be a limit to Tele-consultation. Always remember that it is your body. Incidentally I can't make out any head or tail out of your description.

Hello ma’am, I understand your concern and I want to reassure you that from what you have described, this does not look like a serious condition right now. You passed stool two times in the morning, but it was not watery or excessive, so this does not suggest severe loose motion. The mild stomach discomfort, weakness, and feeling cold can happen due to a minor stomach infection, indigestion, or even dehydration. These usually settle down with rest, light food, and proper fluids. About the medicines you were given, I would not advise you to start the antibiotic (Norflox) because it is not needed unless you have repeated watery motions or blood in stool. Taking unnecessary antibiotics can sometimes cause more harm than benefit. Rabesec-DSR is mainly for acidity or nausea, which is not your main complaint, so it is also not essential at the moment. Nicip Plus contains a pain-relieving medicine that is harsh on the stomach; instead, you can safely take only paracetamol (500–650 mg) if you develop fever or body ache. For now, I recommend you focus on simple home care. Drink plenty of fluids like ORS, coconut water, or plain water with a little sugar and salt to keep your energy and hydration up. Eat light foods such as khichdi, curd, banana, or dal rice, and avoid oily or spicy meals. Take rest and give your stomach time to settle. Please keep an eye on warning signs. If you develop watery diarrhea more than 4–5 times a day, high fever, blood in stool, severe abdominal pain, or repeated vomiting, then you should see a doctor immediately. Otherwise, most likely this will improve in the next 24–48 hours with home care. I hope it help you thanku 😊

it looks like a mild stomach infection / indigestion — often self-limiting. Rest + fluids + paracetamol should be enough. Antibiotic is not necessary right now.
Next Steps
When to see a doctor urgently High persistent fever (>101–102°F) Severe abdominal pain Blood in stool Repeated vomiting, can’t keep fluids down Very frequent watery diarrhea with dehydration (dizziness, very dry mouth, low urine)

From what you describe, this looks more like a mild stomach upset or indigestion rather than a serious infection. You don’t need strong antibiotics like Norflox or combination painkillers like Nicip Plus right now.
Next Steps
Take plenty of fluids like ORS, water, clear soups to avoid weakness. You can take Paracetamol if you have fever or body pain. Eat light, easily digestible food like khichdi, curd rice, bananas. Rest well. Avoid taking antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription unless symptoms persist or worsen.
Health Tips
You should feel better in a day or two with rest and hydration.

Don't take norflox immediately, as loose stools more than 3 times is considered diarrhea and you are within limits. If stool is associated with blood or mucus(White or greenish) then is most likely bacteria. You can also do a CBC test if neutrophils increase is probably bacterial, if lymphocytes increases it is probably viral.
Next Steps
Wait for 2-3 days(except if stool is associated with blood or mucus) before taking antibiotics(norflox) as viral diarrhea resolve on own, if is doesn't resolve within 3 days TAKE 1 TABLET OF NORFLOX TZ TWICE DAILY.
Health Tips
Avoid nicip plus as nimesulide is bad for liver and kidney, take paracetamol 650, 2 times instead. Drink 2 liters of ORS EVERY DAY.
