It seems that you have been depressed since the past 2 years after the above mentioned stressful event. You suffer from physical symptoms which may be related to your low mood.Since you are having suicidal thoughts frequently, you need to immediately visit a psychiatrist. Things should get better with proper evaluation & treatment. If needed further investigations in form of blood tests may be needed to rule out other causes of weight gain, tiredness.
Next Steps
Visit a psychiatrist at the earliest.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately. I also suggest you and your partner go for couples counseling to work on your relationship. Whatever your current efforts are, they don't seem to be having significant improvements in your relationship. It is better to go for professional help in such situations.
