You need to combine weight loss and exercise, plus try having intercourse during fertility period, i.e. 11-18 days of ur cycle.
There might be a problem in conception. But give it a try for atleast one year, focussing on fertile days.
Health Tips
fertile days can be predicted in a regular 28-30 days cycle only
⢠Infertility is defined as âinability to conceive after 1 year of regular, frequent unprotected intercourseâ. Therefore, we advise the couples to investigate for infertility after 1 year of regular trying.
⢠In some couples, waiting for 1 year is not advised. They are having high risk factors for infertility. In such cases, we advise to test if they fail to conceive after 4-6 months of trying. These include- women with age more than 35 years, irregular periods, painful periods, painful sex, previous operations in uterus/ tubes/ ovaries, endometriosis, PCOS and previous cancer treatment; and men with previous operations in genital area, sexual problems, diabetes, varicocele, hormonal problems and previous cancer treatment.
⢠Therefore, we start treatment when you have been trying for 6-12 months and have done some tests.
⢠However, if you feel you cannot wait for long time to try, before doing the tests, you can do the tests. But please remember, in that case, the chance of over-treatment is high.
⢠It is also important to do some tests before you plan for pregnancy (Pre-conceptional care).
Reduce weight as it increases the chance of pregnancy.
