Wisdom tooth is considered to be vestigial. It plays no role in chewing and speaking and is recommended to be removed if the tooth is giving symptoms. Firstly visit a dentist and get the cap removed. If the pain doesn't subside in 2-5 days.... Get a x-ray done. Removal is the best option

Get an X-ray done to check the root canal and diagnose the cause of pain. If there is any infection get the tooth removed
