RUT is Rapid Urease test. It is done to detect H.pylori in ur GIT. If it is present, the test is positive. Usually a piece of ur tissue is taken similar to biopsy, and tested for Urease activity. Biopsy means obtaining a piece of tissue. Rut is a laboratory test done on that obtained sample to detect urease activity. Tissue is taken in a similar way
