Emotional breakdown
I always feel low. I feel that no one understands me. I had lost my father in 2019 and even before that we had a lot of financial problems due to which I can't pursue my dream nor I could afford tution teachers even in class 12. My classmates who were not even as good in studies as me,have got good packages due to which I even feel more depressed. I accuse my father more for this because their father could afford them to send in private engineering college and I had to go to a government college. And as a fresher they earn more than 40K and I being a private school teacher hardly earns around 15K. Even my bf gets irritated when I continuously say these things all the time. In the meantime I have developed a fear that what if my mother would leave us the way my father did. And I'm suffering from pcos also. I feel depressed for silly issues, I feel as if I'm worthless, I unnecessarily shout on people. And I feel like killing myself.

Anxiety and depression is common emotional state that happens with everyone in their lifetime (if they are really a human). Do you want to control it? Sorry, u just can’t do it and it is waste of time for trying it. It can make it even worse. But, you can evade it. Here is how: Mindset. Sometimes in life you can’t change the situation or change others. But, you can change your mindset. One of the best way of thinking is knowing the fact that “This Too Shall Pass”. Relation. Spend your time with people who close to you, respect you and understand you. Spending our time with loved ones increases our mood and happiness level while depression and anxiety depletes it. So, it can help to balance it out. Physical exercise. Most people underestimate value of exercise and its impact to our brain. Doing a regular exercise not just make us healthier but it can boost endorphin levels in our brain which uplifts our mood. Learning something new. Learning something new not just distracts our brain from overthinking because of depression, but it can also lift our confidence and interest for life. It can be anything we passionate about whether it playing music instrument, cooking, coding or even writing. Self-gratitude. Most of the time, we tend to pay our attention to what is visible, but can’t detect what is not apparent. (maybe its in our nature). Think of all the good things life has given you not just things like wealth or family. For instance, some people spend their entire day only to get their basic needs like food and water, not even shelter or people with disability, serious illness and etc. These are some suggestions to divert your mind from negative emotional feelings, although, I mention it again. you can deliberately control your anxieties. After all it is just feelings and has no effect on you unless you allow it by overthinking. Here is another one of my favourite quotes from Mark Twain: “Worrying is like paying a debt you don’t own”. I hope it helps.

Hi It is not easy to deal with the loss of a parent. You went through a difficult time. You often have thoughts of the past and you keep thinking of what you have gone through. You are a school teacher and it is a good job to have. You can think of your goals and ambitions and what you want to do. Try to avoid comparing yourself with your classmates. Don’t worry about being a school teacher. It is a field where you can grow. It is important for you to follow your passion and focus on what you like to do. It sounds like what you have gone through in the past is making you feel anxious. You are worried about losing your mother. You have PCOS and it is making you feel depressed. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about your fear and worries. A psychologist will guide you on how you can understand yourself better that will enable you to feel confident. A psychologist will help you manage emotional symptoms of PCOS such as anxiety and depression. With the help and guidance of a psychologist you will feel better.
