Ear slight pain and low hearing ability
Hi - my wife is breastfeeding a 4 month old baby. She is currently facing slight ear problem with some pain and low hearing ability. Can we use "clear wax" drops now? Is it safe? Please advise.

It's safe to use wax solvent in pregnancy ... No issues .. just don't use ear buds too vigorously

Wax clear drops may be used however it swells the wax the symptoms might increase then you need to visit an ENT for manual removal of wax Caution don't put sticks or buds too deep in ear

Will need a ear wash after the ear wax has been  softened by the drops, in a ENT clinic .

It’s always better to see an ENT directly if possible. Ear pain with low hearing can be due to a lot of causes including ear wax. It’s safer to see and diagnose
