For the Last week my tongue is gets dry continuously... I hydrate myself nicely throughout the day. But my mouth gets dry right after I drink water. It has gotten to a point that my tongue is now aching slightly from being dry for long. I tried squeezing lemon juice directly in my mouth to get my saliva going. And it did work for sometime till the sourness was gone. What should I do? And is there a Home remedy for this?

Are you on any medications?
Just get a routine blood test done to rule out any medical condition.
-Sip water or sugar-free drinks or suck ice chips throughout the day to moisten your mouth.
-Chew sugar-free gum or suck on sugar-free hard candies.
-Try over-the-counter saliva substitutes that contain xylitol.
-Breathe through your nose, not your mouth if you are breathing through your mouth.

U need to take citrus fruits regularly .u ve to undergo blood test to rule out any deficiency.visit near by dentist for further treatment and evaluation.
Hi.. You said from your side you are hydrating well and tried other, so now I will advise you go visit a dentist so that dentist can actually see your mouth and have a thorough check up. After checkup only exact problem will be known and treatment should be planned accordingly. Also this dry mouth can be seen if you are having some habits/ genetics. We have to rule out every possible cause for it.
Next Steps
Don't worry it can be treated, just don't delay visiting a dentist because dry mouth leads to ulceration and decay
Hi,
You need to visit a dentist and get a clinical examination done. Get a routine blood work done to rule out any underlying medical condition. Drink and eat a lot of citrus fruits. Continue to hydrate well with water.
