I have a small bump inside my tongue on the left side, it is not painful but it is sore and a bit annoying

Small bump may be due to traumatic bite or irritation from sharp tooth or burns from intake of hot food items...

It could have been caused by repetitive biting from teeth. Do visit a dentist and get it examined. Treatment will depend on what has caused the bump.
