Hi, 8-10 days is enough for the ulcer from bite to heal, since it hasn't Kindly visit your dentist for further evaluation and rule out the possibility of sharp teeth in that particular area.

A white bump/ulcer on the side of the tongue can occur due to repeated trauma from biting, a sharp tooth, filling or another local irritant. If this is due to trauma, it should gradually heal once the irritation is removed. Since it has already been present for 8–10 days, I would recommend having the area examined by a dentist to make sure there isn’t a sharp tooth/filling repeatedly rubbing against it.
Next Steps
• Avoid biting or irritating the area. • Check whether a sharp tooth, broken filling or wisdom tooth is rubbing against that side of the tongue. • Rinse gently with warm salt water 2–3 times daily. • Avoid spicy, acidic and very hot foods temporarily. • Don’t pick, scrape or try to burst the bump. • If there is discomfort, an oral topical anaesthetic can be used for symptomatic relief; a pharmacist can recommend a suitable product.

Hlo sir….. i will suggest u should visit your nearby dentist and get it examined properly as if it is caused by sharp tooth, get it smoothened by the dentist otherwise it will keep on occurring again and again. When the source of irritation will be removed the lesion should improve within 2 weeks. It can be an enlarged or irritated taste bud that may follow minor trauma, spicy foods, biting or irritation. In such cases no medication is needed.Maintain good oral hygiene, avoid spicy/hot foods and trauma, and observe for 1-2 weeks.
Next Steps
Visit your nearby dentist and get it examined and follow the instructions accordingly. U do not need medications as of now focus only on maintaining good oral hygiene and avoid spicy/hot foods.

According to the image it seems to be caused by trauma from any sharp cusp tooth , Consult and get examine to the dentist for any sharp tooth cusp, otherwise these local irritation will occur again and again. Any ulcer or trauma on tongue heals gradually so do not worry about it . Can apply lidocaine or benzocaine  based gel for symptomatic relief.
