Is cough mild or more? If mild just do hot saline gargles. If more, You can safely take tab azithromycin 500mg one daily for 3 days. Dextromethorphan lozenges every 8hours for 3 to 5 days. You can do gargles with listril mouth wash, 2 to 3 times daily.

🔹 Safe Remedies: Steam inhalation (3–4 times/day) Warm fluids (ginger tea, honey in warm water – if no allergies) Lozenges (plain or honey-based) 🔹 Safe Medicines (consult doctor before use): Dextromethorphan (occasionally, in moderation) Levocetirizine (if allergic cause suspected) ⚠️ Avoid codeine or strong cough syrups without doctor approval. ✅ Breastfeeding can usually continue with these.

Don’t take anything without prescription and avoid taking antibiotics on your own. Try home remedies (turmeric/ honey/ ginger)and gargles, if it doesn’t get better, you can take cetrizine and Guaifenesin(cough syrup) for 5 days. If it doesn’t get better, please consult.
