Hello,
My father has a drinking habit. He occasionally drinks at least once or twice a week. I am tired of telling him that this may cause liver issues in future but he says that he is taking liv 52 ds for this regularly. I don't know what could be done. I know that he won't be consulting the doctor. Is there any medicine available in ayurveda to treat his alcohol craving ?
Any suggestion or advice would be very helpful.
Thank you.

Yes ayurved have solution for it.
Medicine and poisoning have very fine line in between them. Addiction increase silently and destroy family life as well as the Addicted persons helth. If he make oth to deny Addiction then only it is possible.
Till that assist his liver profile, kidney function profile. And add some nutrition in diet.
You can give him tamrin sweet and sour chatny in diet . add Pudina, lime ,amla, resins in diet.
Next Steps
be polit to him and have conversation about his insecurities and problems. tell him yous also and find solution. it will heel him and may he wants to quit his addiction.
In a adequate amount alcohol is ok but the things he take with alcohol are problematic ,too much fried things n heavy this and after this he will take the normal meal also and late night he might eatings these all ,this mainly issues the liver, that you have work on this ,his over eating that to twice in a week
Next Steps
one of the main cause of liver issues is not alcohol but over eating habits
Yes definitely ayurveda medicines are available for alchoholism!
Need to take complete history for your problem!
There is nothing he can depend upon like liv 52...proper medication will be necessary
Consult first
