Dragging pain in the left hand and leg
I wanted to ask about these symptoms: she has been experiencing weakness, tiredness, and a dragging/painful sensation in her left hand and leg. She hadn’t eaten for almost 24 hours and had consumed less than 1 litre of water, so she was feeling very weak. She later ate lunch (sambar rice with chilli pickle) and mentioned a heartburn/burning sensation. Could these symptoms be due to not eating and dehydration, or should we get her checked immediately?

Going nearly a full day without food and very little water can easily cause weakness, tiredness and a heavy, dragging feeling in an arm and leg, especially if blood sugar and hydration both dropped together. The burning feeling after a spicy meal on an empty stomach fits with acidity too.
Next Steps
Eat small, bland meals every few hours from now on, and sip water steadily through the day instead of large amounts at once. Rest today and skip spicy or oily food until this settles.
Health Tips
See a doctor urgently if the weakness doesn't improve by tomorrow, or if one-sided weakness or trouble speaking shows up.
