Please somebody respond, I am really worried. My cat is attacked by dogs on the street. I tried to rescue it very quickly. There are no visible wounds. But he's breathing heavily on his left side . I can see visible skin movement when he is breathing. Like how a fish would breathe with its gill . I took him to the vet immediately. He said there are no deep wounds, you can bring him tomorrow morning. But he has trouble walk with left back leg . I've attached a picture, that is where he is breathing heavily and skin is moving in and out.I'm worried. I consulted vets on practo. It is showing doctors are busy. Please someone respond what to do.

It could be internal trauma. That abnormal breathing movement on the chest side can be due to trauma to the rib or chest wall. Only if we can see the movement we can tell it for sure.
