Does folsafe L has folic acid?
I am now 13 weeks pregnant and my doctor started giving me folsafe L from 4th week of pregnancy. But I am being told that folsafe L does not have folic acid and folic acid is necessary for baby development. Have I been missing on this nutrient and will it impact baby growth? Also, do I need additional calcium supplements? My doctor has not prescribed me. And, how can I ensure adequate protein intake? Do I need a supplement?

Now that you know that Folsafe doesn't contain Folic acid, have you found out what Folsafe contains ? It contains Methyl tetrahydrofolate which is converted to Folic acid. In addition it also contains Vit B1 and Vit B12.
