Does a full boiled egg increase weight??
Does a full boiled egg increase weight?? I ate 2 full boiled eggs with yolk and seeing body pains. Does this increase LDL or HDL cholestrol? Some are saying egg yolk is good. Some are saying egg yolk is bad and has cholestrol. Totally confusing. Can a person who already has high LDL and TGL eat boiled eggs??

An excess of anything is harmful. Note that egg is a good source of high quality protein. Yolk also is rich in nutrients. Whenever you hear some information or opinion about food that confuses you try to understand where it started from. For Example : Athletes/body builders need to eat large quantities of protein for which some of them eat 30-40 egg whites. Now if they were to eat the same number of yolks they will certainly have an imbalanced lipid profile. Hence they skip the yolks & eat the whites. And that is where this belief about yolks being unhealthy started spreading. Now presuming you are not an athlete or in competitive body building, you don't need to eat so many egg whites. Eating 1 yolk per day or 3 per week is fine for most people who have a normal lipid profile. There is no need to be scared of food, if you have the right knowledge and awareness. For customised Diet guidelines, you may have to consult personally if you have health issues or a deranged lipid profile.

Yes you can have yolk but not on daily basis have only on weekly 3 days.  Egg yolk has High nutrients and minerals along with good fat. So you can eat yolk on 3 days a week drink only hot water after every meal especially after 30 mnts of having egg and oil items if incase. And TGL level mostly depends our carbs intake so reduce carbs intake ad eat more veggies and vegetarian protein.

You can avoid egg yolk for the time being. But including good fats in the diet is very important. Ldl is bad cholesterol whereas hdl is good cholesterol. So you need to increase your hdl with good fats like walnuts, flaxseeds, fish, olive oil, avocados, where restrict fatty foods, red meats, fried foods.

Always egg should be consumed after boiling.  It is not the reason for increase in your weight. Egg white is good quality protein. You can consume it. It's better to avoid egg yolk.
