Whether you maintain your current weight or start losing weight depends on your total calorie intake compared to your body's daily calorie requirements. If the weight gain diet was providing a significant calorie surplus and you suddenly return to your old eating pattern, there is a possibility of losing some weight, especially if your previous diet was insufficient to support your current body weight. The meal plan you've mentioned (3 meals with rice, dal, eggs, and a sattu milkshake) may be enough for maintenance, but it depends on factors such as your age, height, activity level, metabolism, and current calorie needs. Remember that a 53 kg body generally requires more calories for maintenance than a 43 kg body. My suggestion would be: • Continue monitoring your weight once a week under similar conditions. • Ensure each meal contains a good source of protein (eggs, milk, dal, paneer, chicken, fish, etc.). • Include healthy fats such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, ghee, or dry fruits. • If you notice a weight loss of more than 1–2 kg over a few weeks, increase portion sizes or add healthy snacks between meals. • Aim to maintain a balanced diet rather than returning completely to the habits that may have contributed to being underweight previously.

You will still have to maintain the protein intake,if u want to maintain that muscle mass .For 53 kg body weight ,53 g /day plus add on protein if you are on strength training/going to gym.

Your ideal body weight should be 62-65 kg a/c to your height . So still you are underweight. You can maintain your weight but you can’t gain weight.
