Healthy evening, The three macronutrients- carbs, protein and fat - have different impacts on both blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Here are few tips to reduce high blood sugar and cholesterol levels. 1. Eat healthy fats: Eating healthy fats like avocado, nuts, seeds, fatty fish and olive oil can help reduce LDL (bad ) cholesterol, increase HDL cholesterol and improve blood sugar control. 2. Reduce intake of added sugar : Cutting added sugar out of your diet is one of the best way to improve overall health 3. Consume more vegetables: Increases your intake of both fresh and cooked vegetables can significantly improve blood sugar and cholesterol. 4. Eat mostly whole, nutritious foods : Relaying on packaged foods or fast foods can damage your health. Whole, nutritious foods that support metabolic health- such as vegetables, beans, fruits and healthy sources of protein and fat including nuts, seeds, olive oil. Other healthy ways to reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels include physical activity and losing excess body fat .
