Diabetic tests
Dear Doctors Please advise the various tests to identify whether I'm diabetic or not I have anxiety disorder with hypothyroidism Taking tablets only for Thyroid ( Thyronorm 100 MCG) My feet was paining and tingling some times While checking in Accu check it shows 140 before eating ( Around evening 7PM ) and taken test again after 2hrs after eating which shows 236 Whether Im diabetic being a young age I don't want to take tablet or insulin Evening 1hr going for cycling should I need to do other physical activities and food to bring down this value. Please help

Fasting glucose level and 2 hours postprandial glucose levels you have mentioned are higher than the normal.However you need to confirm it by doing FBS,2 HOURS POSTPRANDIAL GLUCOSE AND HBA1C in accredited laboratory. restrict carbohydrate intake,avoid fatty food,use lots of vegetables and fruits, Exercise for 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. See that your thyroid hormone levels are normal and lipids as well.
