Blood tests
Hi sir,. I want to get my blood tested for CBC, lipid profile, vitamin b12. Is it ok to get it tested in thyrocare. I am from Bangalore. Usually they collect from Bangalore and send to Mumbai for testing. Does results be same if tested in local lab(which they collect and tested the same day) and thyrocare( they collect and send to Mumbai).

Hello, Very Good evening. I'm Dr.Yogesh Kr Sharma. I advice you to go for your blood test locally at renown Lab known as SRL DIAGNOSIS LAB assosiated with Fortis hospital,  but have independent Labs every where in Banglore. Kindly don't go for Thyrocare. Good luck. Bye.

Hello, Getting blood tests done at local lab is always better but sometime due to lack of facilities the samples are sent outside but if the transportation done through proper cold chain then it's OK but still I would recommend you to get the tests done at the local lab. CBC sample may get a hemolyse and may give false report so better do it there. Hope this might be helpful to you.
