Carrots and radishes are great for diabetes in winter as they are low in sugar and high in fiber. Turnips are healthy and low in carbs, good for controlling blood sugar. Spinach, methi (fenugreek), and sarson (mustard greens) are perfect for winter and help manage diabetes. Cabbage and cauliflower are low in carbs and good for soups or curries. Tomatoes are low in sugar and work well in soups or salads. Oranges, guavas, and kiwis are winter fruits with low sugar, full of vitamin C. Pomegranates are good in small portions as they help with blood sugar. Pears are high in fiber and a safe winter fruit. Make warm soups with vegetables like broccoli, spinach, and tomatoes for health and comfort. Avoid eating too much of starchy vegetables like peas or yams. Always choose fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and skip processed ones with added sugars.

You cannot categorise or generalize diabetic friendly and not-friendly foods. Because all foods process differently in different individuals. My suggestion/ advice to you is seek a professional Nutritionist's help through personal consultation who will narrow down food and nutrition according to your body's requirements.
