Deworming can be considered if intestinal worm infection is suspected. Albendazole 400 mg as a single dose is commonly used for uncomplicated intestinal helminth infections. However, the appropriate regimen depends on the suspected worm (e.g., pinworm may require repeat dosing). Maintain good hand hygiene and wash/trim nails to reduce reinfection. If symptoms persist or there is recurrent infection, abdominal pain, weight loss, or blood in stool, stool examination and medical evaluation are advisable.
There is no home remedy for worm infection.
But if you are asking for prevention then
Wash or soak the vegetables and fruits for atleast 5 mins, mantain proper hand hygiene, avoid raw/uncooked foods.
Consult any general physician for deworming medications
- Wash hands thoroughly after using the toilet and before eating.
- Keep fingernails short and clean.
- Wash vegetables/fruits well and cook food properly.
- Drink safe/boiled water.
- Wear footwear outdoors.
- you have night-time anal itching, daily; wash clothes regularly.
Next Steps
natural treatment alone will not help to eradicate intestinal worms. Diet helps , but they will not treat completely
There is no proven natural treatment that reliably clears a worm infection. Maintain good hygiene, wash hands regularly, keep nails short, wash fruits/vegetables properly and avoid contaminated food/water.
If you have night-time anal itching or visible worms, please let me know, as the treatment can be different. A stool test may also be needed depending on your symptoms.
