Dengue and low platelets
My wife was admitted 3 days ago with platelets count 18000 and after plasma transfusion was done platelets increases 26000, next day then 36000 next day then 47000 next and today 87000 . No fever . No pain . Can I make the patient discharge.

This is just one factor you have mentioned. There are so many other factors which have to be considered before we discharge the patient. We don't want the patient to come back to the hospital within 24 hours of the discharge. In this case your treating Physician is the best judge.

Yes you can But follow your doctor advised Because platelets count is not the only criteria

According to your sign and symptom you are suffering from some infection like dengue cause low platelet count . As you know that best treatment depend on the correct diagnosis and correct diagnosis depend on the complete history of the patient so please take consultation from a doctor and give complete history of the patient so that correct diagnosis will be make and then best treatment will be start
