CT scan of Brain and PNS
Is a CT scan of the brain and paranasal sinuses (PNS) really necessary in my case? My 19 years niece recently had a bike accident and received stitches on forehead 3 and nose 2 stitches. It’s been 96 hours since the accident, and the wounds are healing well without any complications. She doesn't have any pains now. However, I’m unsure if a CT scan is warranted at this point, considering the cost involved. I would appreciate any insights or recommendations from healthcare professionals regarding the necessity of this imaging procedure in my situation. Thank you.
