My father is suffering from Oral cancer. After surgery report came and it is written that pT3N0Mx. Stage 3. Also tumor erodes the mandibular bone . Bony margins are free. Is there any requirement for chemo therapy.

Provisional plan- If mandible bone Is involved thn it is pT4 and not T3. As you mentioned, N0 means no nodes involved.. So, he will require adjuvant radiation for 6 weeks but no chemotherapy Wil require final histopath report for final decision

Radiotherapy is must for T3 tumors of oral cavity. Concurrent chemotherapy depends on lymph nodes and perinodal extension.
