Concerns About Prolonged Bleeding
On December 1st, I underwent an abortion at 6 weeks of pregnancy, experiencing heavy bleeding for 8 days. I consulted a gynecologist who prescribed a tablet, effectively reducing and stopping the bleeding within 3 days. Took ultrasound on 11th. Visited the gynecologist and she confirmed that abortion has completed. Again, I had what seemed like a normal period from December 26th, with moderate bleeding for the first week (using 2-3 XL pads a day) and then reducing to 1 pad a day. However, it has been 15 days, and I am still bleeding. Is this normal, or should I consider visiting my gynecologist again?
