Abortion in 6 weeks gestation period
My friend had a pregnancy detected after umbilical hernia surgery. She preferred for an abortion. After 2 doses of abortion pills with a time gap of one week, she is still having 7.5 mm tissue left but the uterine cavity appears empty. But the Hcg levels are 91 and weekly positive result in pregnancy kit. Should she go for a methotrexate injection or not? Will she require any surgical procedure?
