Cold n cough
Facing issue with cold n cough from last 3days.. had levocet for 3 days n cold subsided however have dry cough n having Alex syrup for that...so can I have azythromicin for this..also I feel 500mg is high dosage for me so cn I take half tablt n the other half next day?

dont take directly azithromycin cough will subside by 3-4 days... take warm water

Inorder to start antibiotic we usually suggest you to do blood routine examination and if the blood investigation shows increased/ abnormal wbc count it indicates that you have infection. Then only we suggest you to start antibiotics(azythromicine). .
Next Steps
You can continue levocet for 2 weeks and benedryl syrup is good for dry cough.

Hi.,i can understand your concern. If you're not having any fever, no need of Azithromycin. Take montek lc at night after food for 5 days. Do betadine gargling Continue syrup. Drink warm water.

Please don’t self medicate if not recovering. Take doctors opinion. Half dose of antibiotic will not be helpful

Don't take antibiotics... Continue with syrup and home remedies it will slowly come down.

As you're already taking a cough syrup, it will subside in a few days.
