I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling so unwell. The combination of fever (especially at night), severe headache, body aches, and extreme drowsiness suggests a significant systemic response, likely an infection. While the previous advice included an antibiotic (Moxclav), it is important to first determine if your infection is viral or bacterial. Antibiotics will not help with viral infections like the common cold or flu. Immediate Recommendations: Hydration and Rest: Your feeling of weakness and drowsiness is often a sign of mild dehydration due to fever. Sip water, ORS, or clear soups frequently. Fever Management: You can take Paracetamol (if you have no allergies) to manage the fever and headache. Keep a log of your temperature readings. Monitor for Red Flags: If you experience any of the following, please seek immediate in-person medical attention: Difficulty breathing or chest pain. A stiff neck along with the severe headache. Persistent vomiting or inability to keep fluids down. Fever that does not come down with medication. Suggested Next Steps: Since your symptoms have lasted for 2 days and include severe headache and night-time fevers, it would be wise to consult a doctor for a physical examination of your throat (tonsils) and lungs. They may suggest a Complete Blood Count (CBC) or a rapid test for common seasonal viruses to ensure you are on the correct treatment plan. Avoid starting antibiotics until a healthcare provider confirms a bacterial infection, as improper use can lead to resistance and side effects like stomach upset.

Your symptoms are most suggestive of a common viral throat and upper respiratory infection, which is very common and usually improves within a few days with rest and supportive treatment. Body pain, headache, weakness, and fever can occur together during such infections and do not necessarily indicate anything serious. Maintain good hydration, take adequate rest,.
Next Steps
Consult to continue symptomatic medicines for fever and throat discomfort
Health Tips
Monitor your temperature and avoid exertion for a couple of days. If breathing difficulty, persistent high fever, severe throat swelling, or worsening drowsiness develops, then seek medical evaluation.

Fever is commonly due to viral infection, but depending on symptoms, other causes may need evaluation. Maintain hydration and take paracetamol if required. If fever persists beyond 2–3 days or is associated with severe symptoms, Do consult for proper assessment.
