I have been diagnosed with chondromalacia and suggested some exercises Questions- 1. Is it curable? 2. Why is my pain increasing after doing exercises? 3. Is chondromalacia precursor for arthritis? 4. What is recovery time?

1. Yes it is curable. 2. Rest is important for recovery, exercises Amy cause bringing of the patellar articular surface with the femur thereby increasing pain. 3. Yes it may lead to arthritis due to chondral damage. 4. Recovery may take anywhere between 4-6 weeks.
