Cervical stitches procedure.
Hi doctors. Just want to know ..during cervical stitches procedure.will doctor scan babies also and do stitches Or they just directly stitch the cervix How will we know the baby is fine because nt scan happened 10 days ago Am my procedure happened yesterday. Do they examine baby as well before stitches is done

No scanning is done just before the stitch is given. Cervical stitch is given in the Operation Theatre. Scanning is done in the Radiology Department. Doctor confirms the wellbeing of the baby before he tells the patient to have a cervical stitch. Please consult with me for any further information.

Baby examined before during and after procedure Actually it is ultrasound guided procedure, even if not Baby is quite above the cervix , so baby is safe
