Unless there is severe pain or any bleeding there is not much to worry about As pregnancy advances it is normal for cervical size to reduce If any of the above symptoms get a internal examination done

In case previous preterm labour or mid trimester abortion, we usually measure cervical length, otherwise you should not worry about cervical length. Cervical length above 2.5 cm is fine ..

Suggest you get an internal examination done for any cervical incompetence or dilatation based on which u might be advised to go for complete bed rest or a minor procedure.

As pregnancy advances cervical length will decrease... not much precautions needed.. just avoid outstation travel and lifting heavy weights... continue with pregnancy support medications.. if you feel there is some vaginal infection or discharge consult with your gynecologist for getting it treated
