I'm 16 weeks pregnant with cervical polyp due to that I have continuous bleeding and spotting from 8 weeks till now.
If I give any pressure like passing urine my polyp comes out of Vagina. And if the polyp size is examined after passing urine it is around 6cms at cervix. But generally we can see only 2 cm polyp if no pressure is given
Now doctor suggested for polyp removal as I have continuous symptoms
Question: During polyp removal procedure if the polyp is only 2 cm near cervix then doctor is saying that 2cm will only be removed
and Whatever is visible will be removed
But if incase only 2cm is visible and that is removed then what about the rest 4cm?? will it give same symptoms and cause problems during pregnancy in future??

Second trimester is the best time for a surgery like this. You should receive lots of progestational support and usually most of the polyp is removed. The risk of recurrence will persist.
