Cervical Length
I am currently 16 week pregnant . During my 12 th week I had a TVS showing the Cervical length as 3.2 cm while in 15 week during monitoring any changes The Cervical Length was 3.8 cm with internal OS closed in TAS .. I had asked to do TVS but they denied doing so ... is there something to worry ? Does TAS & TVS length may vary ? Is it the normal length or should i worry doc told to wait till 18 week before she can go for cerclage .

3.8 cm cervical length at 15 weeks  is normal. Dont worry. Continue prescribed medicine.

Your cervical length readings are both reassuring. A length under 2.5 cm before 24 weeks is what usually raises concern. Yours have stayed well above that at both scans, with the internal os closed. Transabdominal scans like your second one often measure slightly longer than transvaginal scans, since a full bladder is needed for that scan. So some difference between the two is expected and not a sign of change.
Next Steps
Keep your follow-up scans as planned, and ask your obstetrician to repeat a TVS at the next visit for a true comparison. Waiting till 18 weeks to decide on a cerclage is standard when the cervix is closed and length is adequate.
Health Tips
Contact your obstetrician promptly if you notice pelvic pressure, spotting, or any fluid leakage before then.
