CBT Sessions
Hi there! I wanted to ask that how many CBT lessons & how much time would be required for the treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder, provided i am suffering from Severe Anxiety & it all started gradually from childhood & slowly became severe as of now. Also, please give rough idea about the cost & cost per session.

CBT is Brief therapy and usually lasts at most 14 sessions. To see improvement in anxiety related issues 8-10 sessions are required. Follow ups will be helpful and keep the patient on track. Some of the later sessions may include Schema Focused Therapy can be used to deal with past patterns. Also graded exposure may be needed in later sessions which might be longer around 100mins. Sessions will cost you around ₹2000/ session.

Hi Dear Once a professional assess a client depending on the severity and depth of the anxiety he/ she would be able to decide how many sessions you will require. Also cost differs from therapist do therapist. Best suggestion for you is to visit a psychologist near you to get assessed and understand your concerns.
