CBT insomnia
I am facing sleep problems and I am interested in CBT for insomnia. Can you please advise if it is possible to learn CBT for insomnia online and if online programs are effective? Alternatively, is it more effective to seek guidance from a certified professional psychologist? Your insights and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, First of all we need to understand the root cause of your disturbed sleep. Without knowing the cause it would be difficult for you to apply CBT on yourself. Secondly, I would suggest to seek guidance from a certified professional guidance. No two individuals are identical so the approach of CBT is varied from person to person. You can learn CBT online but it is more than just what is being taught to a non psychology person.
Next Steps
I would suggest to keep a check on water intake. Start moving your body because your mind is thinking most of the times. Just 10 mnts of brisk walk will help you a lot. Thanks

For sleep disturbances you should seek EFT Therapy the most effective and it will resolve your underlying root cause which in turn will give you a grand sleep. There could be many reasons for your sleep problems.. And if that is understood. Your problem can be sorted. You can seek help from any psychologist to understand your behavior better. If you want to try CBT on your own, try asking some questions to yourself, try understanding why and what is the problem that is causing you to not sleep... For a start. But would advise you to seek help from professional

Hey, CBT is a type of therapy. For your insomnia issue you could consult a psychologist. Psychologist will help you to resolve this issues. Further, it would not be possible for you to learn CBT and apply on yourself. There are other forms of therapies that psychologists use. We at The Mindveda, in first session explore the reasons behind your concerns and then form a therapeutic plan to resolves issues.

Hi.. CBT is a treatment methodology like Heart Surgery. If someone can learn it online and perform on one own self than I would be amazed. Try seeking treatment for your concerns and let the professionals (psychiatrist/psychologist) decide on the best treatment suitable for you. There are plenty of certified professional available online and offline, you can choose who you like best. Mental Health Treatments are a combination of multiple domains and not strictly confined to one. So comparisons and judgements do not serve any purpose. Which treatment to be used depends on the case and its overall scenario. All treatments are effective when used in appropriate conditions.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. Psycho-education along with Guidance and Counselling is required.
