Go for extraction. Delay in treatment will lead to complications which indirectly increases the cost of treatment.

It seems like your tooth has got severely damaged due to underlying infection. We would need to see your tooth x-ray to see if the roots could be saved or not. If not, get the tooth stumps extracted. If yes, then we will have to rebuild the tooth with post and core (total cost ~ INR 7500). Kindly visit a good Endodontist near you.

If you are experiencing bleeding from a decayed tooth with an ulcer and increasing pain, it is important to take prompt action. Here are some steps you can take: Rinse with saltwater: Gently rinse your mouth with warm saltwater to help clean the area and reduce bacteria. Avoid irritating the area: Try to avoid foods that can aggravate the area, such as spicy or acidic foods, as they may increase discomfort. Use over-the-counter pain relief: You can consider taking over-the-counter pain relievers, following the recommended dosage, to temporarily alleviate the pain. Schedule a dental appointment: It is essential to see a dentist as soon as possible. They will evaluate the decayed tooth, assess the condition of the gums, and provide appropriate treatment options. This may include a filling, root canal treatment, or extraction, depending on the severity of the decay and the overall oral health. Maintain good oral hygiene: Brush and floss your teeth regularly to keep the area clean and prevent further decay or infection. Remember, seeking professional dental care is crucial to address the underlying issue and prevent it from worsening. Contact a dentist near you to schedule an appointment and discuss your symptoms and concerns.

Most probably you had a grossly delayed tooth that has now given up! Carious tooth structures are weak and prone to fracture. Such teeth gradually over time are reduced to just root stumps and the gum surrounding these teeth frequently gets traumatised during chewing and may bleed. Another possibility is that of having a pulp polyp that got trauma and started bleeding. Pulp polyps are common in young age group with long standing caries. Due to caries or fracture, sharp tooth remnants may lead to cheek bite as well causing ulcer.
Next Steps
Get an XRay done to know the exact status of your tooth and accordingly either extract or get the tooth treated
