Capping after RCT
My mother has got done RCT for one of the back tooth and now the doctor says capping need to be done for 3 teeth in total including 2 neighbouring teeth . Can you please tell is it painful process and what is the cost of zirconium based capping for 3 teeth in NCR area as it seems quite expensive based on their estimation

See if you have RCT in one tooth then you can have cap on only single tooth,there is no need to cap the 3 tooth,1 tooth cap can be done .so your charges will get reduced from 3 cap to 1only

Yes u should get a crown placement as soon as possible ...as after RCT tooth usually gets brittle so just for its long life it's better u put a crown (if there is no pain in RCT treated tooth)
And u can have PFM Crowns also for posterior teeth ..no much need for zirconia crowns as PFM Crowns are very much cost effective and good choice for posterior teeths

Yes bridging is needed as after root canal treatment, cap has to be done over it to prevent it from breakage.
Costing varies from area to area depending upon the lab costing. (Generally from 7k to 15k)
But zirconium crowns are better than metal ceramic ones in terms of aesthetics and durability.
