Hi.. if it is a full ceramic crown then cost is fine. But if it is metal ceramic crown then it will not cost you so much.

Dear patient capping or crowning after root canal treatment is essential if its a back tooth where chewing forces are concentrated the reason being now that the tooth has no blood or nerve supply(after rct)it becomes brittle and can fracture or break to an excessive force The cap is put to protect this tooth and prevent fracture and thus removal of tooth. the cap pricing can range from material to material and between doctors and clinics as well ensure you are paying a price that is suitable to you with a doctor who will be there to replace or correct the problems in the cap if any till youre comfortably chewing.

It's always better to have a crown after rct as it maintains the structure of the tooth and also provides strength to the natural crown...... And about cost of the crown...  6000  for an all Ceramic or zirconia is quite a good deal.  If you can afford then go for it as zirconia is the best you can get.
Health Tips
Make sure he's giving all Ceramic for this price not a metal Ceramic
