Make a schedule. Follow it religiously. Take small breaks. Don’t sit on a bed and study as you might feel lethargic. Your study table should be clutter free. Try to visualise the topic to remember better. I am an online counselor and you can get in touch with me through Practo for further discussion and help . All the best !

Hello practo user I can understand the difficulty that you are facing in regards to your academics. It seems that you are easily distracted and are unable to score to your full potential. You can try and make a simple timetable which has 10 minutes break for every 30 minutes of studying , you can modify according to the subject at hand . In those 10 minutes avoid using any gadget rather read the newspaper or any Magazine or even helping around the house will be good. Try and make a daily tasks list and finish atleast the points mentioned on those lists . Use cue cards or other creative techniques to make studying interesting. Maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and adequate sleep . Exercise regularly as it also helps keep the mind active . It is advisable that you seek help from a mental health professional to understand your case better and teach you positive coping strategies and skills which will be beneficial for your studying. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.
