Can it be gum cancer?
I have a swelling in gum for one week. It bleeds when brushed. There was little pain too. My dentist says it's severe gingivitis or periodontitis. After taking antibiotics the swelling has went down a little. (Around 70% is cured). Doctor has also suggested to clean the teeth once every year. Should I be concerned that it can be gum cancer? (No alcohol or tobacco use history) I want to take second opinion because I am scared

Hello.. Don't be scared It is infection of gums that, if ignored can lead to periodontitis (bone loss and tooth mobility). It just needs a good session of teeth cleaning (scaling).
Next Steps
Visit your doctor and get scaling done
Health Tips
Don't overthink about its connection to cancer.

You need professional oral prophylaxis (cleaning of teeth). Bleeding will slowly stop after this.  It's not related to any cancer. But you should take care of oral hygiene.  After prophylaxis,  maintain it with proper brushing and mouthwash.  Hope it helps.
Next Steps
Go for scaling

Periodontal issue are way to common . Proper history is must . If this is from a long span you need to go for cbc ( complete blood count ) , bleeding time and clotting time . Second gingivitis can also be drug induced. A proper medical history is must . And don’t worry this is not related to any Malignancy.

Go for a clinical examination with all proper investigation.
