Gastritis does not cause diabetes.gastritis or ulcer may prompt you to eat resulting in hunger.Your lab results show that you are diabetic.Restricting the carbohydrates , exercising daily for 30 minutes 5 days a week will help you control the sugar levels.
Keeping your blood pressure under 130/80 and lowering the cholesterol levels is of equal importance.
Generally gastritis doesn't cause diabetes.
Actually gastritis mean gastric inflammation by excess gas production
And
Reason of excess gas production are stress and tension and bad life style as low water intake and more spicy and fatty foods.
I thinks that you have taken a lot of stress and tension and not good life style
And stress and tension can cause to stimulate excess glucose production and resistant to insulin in the body slowly
So that that your body have become resistant to insulin and
That resistant insulin doesn't able to decrease the blood glucose level .
When blood glucose level is high more than 200mg /dl for 3 month then it's known as hyperglycemia and
When Hba1c is more than 6.5 then
It's condition known as diabetic .
So thats why Stress and tension factor with bad life style can cause diabetes .
Next Steps
You should follow good life style as take plenty of fluid and take less spicy and fatty foods and do exercise regularly with yoga and meditation to decrease stress and tension .
