Per se only Calcium supplement (in apt dose) , if actually deficiency is present , should not cause trouble in a patient with otherwise healthy renal profile & in a patient without any other risk factors . But to assess the cause of Calcium deficiency is important ; for which above mentioned details are insufficient to provide a definitive answer , as few further investigations are needed to arrive at a diagnosis . Would like to know a few more details , before providing apt opinion . Please consult for the same .

Hi It is important to know why is calcium low in you body , for which certain tests need to be done including serum vit D3 , phosphorous amongst other tests. It is only after doing these tests we come to know wether the primary problem lies in dietary deficiency of calcium or a bodily deficiency of vitD3 or any other problem. Osteoporosis and parasthesias are few manifestations of low calcium and vitamin D.
Next Steps
kindly consult a physician to get other blood tests done if not done already
Health Tips
Calcium is a very important element in our body and deficiency of the same should not be neglected at any cost .
