Dosage for Calcium+Vitamin D3 tablets
Hi Doctor, I want to take Calcium+Vitamin D3 for my general bone health and improvement. Should I undergo any tests before starting to take tablets? If tests are not required, what is the suggested dosage? Thank you, Krishna Swarup

If you are taking enough milk and dairy products calcium supplements are not required at your age unless it is actually deficient. Doses of vit d depends on whether patient is vit d deficienct or not. For prophylaxis dose is different. You can get vit d and calcium level done. Detailed prescription can be given after knowing reports and knowing if there is symptoms  of  deficiency
