Calcarea Phosphorica 3x for teething
Hi..
My doctor suggested Calcerea Phosphorica 3x (2 tabs 2 times in a day) for teething of my son. He is 7+ months old. I have been giving him this medicine since he was 5.5 months old.
But when he was 6 months, he has been super constipated since then and facing hard time while passing stools.
Fiber rich food, lukewarm water are not helping
Therefore kindly advice if this can be because of Calcerea Phosphorica. Can this medicine cause constipation?

Teething is a natural process and it should not require medicine.

Calcarea phos wont cause Constipation. There may some other causes like
Dehydration
Weaning with more solid foods
Formula milk fed babies
Also even in breastfeeding mothers constipation occurs when mother takes more dairy and high calorie foods.

Calc .phos. is a safe medicine generally it is given to babies.There may be another cause of constipation If the baby is on breast feeding then I think you are facing the same and you have to take medicine for constipation and baby will be better.
