Good morning, If child is taking milk feed at night, after 1-2 hours, child is hungry again. It's always preferred to give semisolid food items at night for longer sleep duration with out hunger drives frequently. Take care. You should feed him on demand. Don't be harsh on him. It's possible  to wean the child gradually.
Next Steps
Consult online or in my clinic if you are in Nagpur.

Sleep training the child is also important. Make sure to feed the child for 20 minutes and place him down when he falls asleep. Keep the room dark and cool with white noise or instrumental lullabies in the background. Don't say no - instead try methods to increase his sleep duration. You can also substitute your feeds with warm animal milk or your expressed breast milk. You can ask another caregiver to take over if this method is what you want to follow.
