Feeding breast milk after 10 hours
Hi Doctor, My baby is 7 months old. I m back to my work so can't feed him during my office hours. The milk which is stored in the breast for 10 to 11 hours in breast can be feeded to baby ? Is it good to feed the same milk or I need to remove the milk for every 4 hours. Please suggest is there any effect to baby in feeding the breast milk which is not feeded from long hours.

Yes, you can safely provide direct breast feeding after you come home from work. There is also another option of expressing breast milk via a breast milk pump which you can buy from a pharmacy. You can express the milk before you go to work in the morning. The freshly expressed or pumped milk can be stored in the fridge and the carer can take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature before giving it to your baby
Next Steps
Continue breast feeding after you come home from work. It is very safe and effective with numerous health benefits for your baby.

But if you can express the milk once at your office, store and bring back home for baby, breast milk can be stored for 4days in refrigerator, By doing this your milk production will not decrease
