Meet a oncologist and get a counselling done. Have the reports of your mother. If any genetic analysis is done on your mother's blood sample or the tumor tissue , then it can be  discussed. What blood required can be discussed.. Counselling by a trained oncologist surgical or medical is a must.. Good luck
