Breast cancer
Breast lump present for about 2 years, size remained stable at 2.8 cm. After biopsy, the lump increased rapidly and is now around 6 cm. Biopsy result shows Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and HER2 positive. A core needle biopsy was done multiple times — 6 passes in the breast lesion and 3 passes in the axillary (underarm) area. Recent sonomammogram shows a large heteroechoic lesion with mild to moderate internal vascularity. I have breast pain. I need guidance regarding treatment options and I am afraid of chemotherapy.
