Hi,
My mother 63 years has gone through the sonomammography test and they mentioned that it is BI-RADS 4C . Please suggest if this is a breast cancer or fibrroidic breast disease.. Is this required surgery. Please quide really confused about the situation, Can i go further second opinion, yet to done biopsy test

Mostly birads 4c indicates that the lesion is malignant.
However a biopsy is mandatory for confirmation of disease and the subsequent treatment decision
